The Piipaash Course at Talking Stick Golf Club (formally know as the South Course) is the more conventional, parkland-style companion to the minimalist Piipaash layout. It offers a refined yet strategic experience designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw.
Course Highlights
Tree-lined Fairways & Raised Greens
- The course features lush eucalyptus and cottonwood flanking each hole, contrasting the open desert of the Piipaash. Greens are elevated and well-protected by bunkers and slopes.
Strategic Simplicity
- Piipaash provides a straightforward “what you see is what you get” layout-no hidden tricks, but precise shot-making is still required to stay in play and hold the raised greens.
Parkland meets Desert Character
- Designed for an aerial game, it blends traditional course styling with desert vistas visible beyond the surrounding trees.
