Weddings at Talking Stick

The soft rolling landscape and clear mountain views at Talking Stick Golf Club offer a dramatic backdrop for your flawless wedding day.  Our facility is the perfect setting for an intimate reception for 50 in the Wildhorse Grille or a celebration for 250 guests on one of our immaculate event lawns.

Our experienced culinary staff is anxious to create a customized menu for your event that will astonish your guests.  From the planning of the menu to the selection of your centerpieces your onsite coordinator will be pleased to assist with every detail of your special day.  At Talking Stick Golf Club we create an atmosphere where you and your guests will relax and enjoy the day.

General Information

Wedding Ceremonies

Talking Stick has two outdoor ceremony sites available for you to choose from.  Both sites feature unobstructed views of the McDowell Mountains, Pinnacle Peak and the sprawling golf course beyond.  Set with white wooden chairs, an arch and white carpet runner either site provides a stunning backdrop for your ceremony and photographs.  Rehearsal and set up and breakdown of the ceremony are included for in the site fee for up to 200 guests of $1,000.

Receptions

Talking Stick will provide all of your dinner tables with complete settings, cake table, guest book table, and gift table.  All linen supplied is white, however specialty linen can easily be arranged.  Depending on the size of your reception, our existing dining room tables and chairs are available to groups of 60 or less.  The reception site fee is $500, groups of more than 125 or any group holding their reception outdoors may be subject to additional equipment rental fees.

Event Coordination

At Talking Stick you will work with one of our skilled staff members to plan every detail of your day.  Not only will your coordinator attend to all of the small details, they will be onsite throughout your day to ensure everything is perfect.

Menu Selection

To assure that your menu selections can be made available, please submit them at least four weeks in advance.  Please let us know if you have any special requests or particular menus in mind, we are happy to customize menus.

Food and Beverage Service

It is our policy that liquor cannot be brought onto the property from outside sources.  The club does not allow food to be brought onto the property, whether purchased or catered from outside sources.  Additionally, we do not permit the removal of left over food from the property.

Deposits/Contracts

An initial deposit of $500.00 (this deposit will be applied to your balance) will be due with your signed contract, which will outline your payment schedule.   Full payment of your estimated balance is due seven business days prior to your event.  A credit card authorization form is required to be on file to guarantee any additional charges incurred.

Service Charge and Sales Tax

A 20% service charge is added to all food and beverage prices and is subject to state sales tax.  The total bill which includes; Food and Beverage, Service Charge, Ceremony Fees, Room Rental and Labor Fees are subject to Arizona state tax.

Minimum Attendance & Fees

For all meal functions, a minimum of 25 guests is required. If this minimum is not met, a surcharge will be applied.  Some dates are subject to food and beverage minimum revenue guarantees.

Guarantee Policy

A minimum attendance guarantee must be received before noon three business days prior to your event.  The guarantee is the minimum number for which you will be charged.  If your attendance exceeds the guarantee, billing will be for the actual number of guests in attendance.  The club will be prepared to serve 5% over your guaranteed figure. 

Club Availability
All dates and locations are subject to availability and management approval.  We will be happy to secure a venue for your event with a contract and deposit. 

Contracted Services
We have a number of recommendations for everything from florists to live music.  Once you have booked your wedding we are happy to help arrange all of your details.

Dance Floor
We will provide a dance floor with rental fees.  Sizing begins at 12’ x 12’.

Wedding Cake
Your custom wedding cake is complimentary with a purchase of one of our elegant plated dinners or elaborate dinner buffets.  We exclusively use Honeymoon Sweets Bakery for our wedding cakes.

                       
Parking
Complimentary self-parking is available for your guests. 

Golf Events
We would be pleased to plan a golf outing for your bridal party and/or wedding guests, rates and availability are dependant upon the date and time you select.
